First Christian Church Charleroi, offers a Christian education program for all ages. Many of these small groups meet at 9:45 a.m. on Sundays during the usual Sunday School time, and others get together throughout the week.

Youth classes

Divided by age and held during the Sunday School hour

-Pre-kindergarten and kindergarten class is temporarily unavailable 
-The Grades 1-7 class is taught by Laurie Cochran
-The High School class is taught by Jennifer Snipes.




Young(er) Adults -  Temporarily  Unvavailable 

As the name suggests, a group of younger adults meets at 9:30 a.m. Sundays to study scripture and to brainstorm outreach into the broader Charleroi community. In this class, you’ll learn about God’s word and you’ll get a chance to step outside the four walls of the church to take a hand in God’s work. Pastor Charlie teaches the Young Adults Class.


Sisters in Christ - Temporarily  Unvavailable 

A group for women of all ages. Meets at 6:30 p.m. on the second Monday of each month, except June and July. The time together is spent in fellowship and support, along with a devotion and refreshments.



Men’s Class
This adult Sunday School class for men meet at 9:45 a.m., to study and discuss God's word.  


Good News Class

This adult Sunday School class meets at 9:45 a.m. Sundays to study and discuss God’s word. They also sponsor an Easter breakfast, along with soup and sandwich luncheons twice a year. They also financially support Vacation Bible School and the church’s community action programs. They take a role in Meals on Wheels, and they send Guidepost Magazine subscriptions to military personnel. And they have fun: each year, social outings include at least one Washington Wildthings baseball game and a road trip to Sand Berry Hill Farm.




Ruth Class

This women’s class engages in lively Bible study and church outreach programs.  Meets Sunday mornings at 9:45 a.m.
